Cold and Chill, Bless the Lord

This was my Saturday morning.  Yeah. Oy.  I don't want to dwell on this too much for a life update except that I'm fine minus one dinky bruise on my knee, the car is in remarkably good condition, and I have such wonderful people in my life who rushed to my help.

On to other news.

Still waiting to hear back from Franciscan and Catholic University.  Today in my gmail account I saw an email from Franciscan that was entitled "Graduate/Non-Traditional Student Updates".  Further, it shows the first line of the email, which said, "Hello from Graduate Admissions! We are very excited that you a..."  My breath might have caught in my throat.  Upon opening the email, it was a plug for the Graduate Facebook page to find out what life is like at Franciscan besides their studies.  Macho bumskies.  Hopefully one of these days it'll be the real deal.

Lent is underway!  Praise God.  So excited to see where this season takes us.

I'm SUPER stoked because the first weekend of spring break Matt and I will be traveling out to Colorado to visit his sister and brother-in-law who will *hopefully* have their Lil Bit when we're out there.  I'm all excited for some cuddlin' and lovin' with their two precious daughters.  Oh man spring break, let's go!

This weekend I'll be going up to Benedictine to visit Matt and be introduced to O'Malley's.  Apparently it's a pretty cool pub.  I'm ready to be impressed.

Mkay, well, that really is life.  Off to study for a test!

Yummy kolaches from the Feast of Sts. Cyril and Methodius.  I *might* have had two for two different breakfasts...maybe ;-)

  1. The absolute latest she's allowed to come (via induction if she waits that long) is March 4th as that will be "42 weeks", and most doctors, including mine, won't let women go past then... so even if she's not here quite yet, as long as you're staying through Monday, you'll meet her! We can't wait to see you!!

O'Malley's is awesome and you should be there for live Irish music, which is great fun!

  3. You might have had two for two breakfasts. That's how I roll (as long as both breakfasts were the same day).

Once I hit a tree. The end.
    Glad you're OK.
